Gravity Yoga®️ is a systematic approach to flexibility training developed and introduced by Lucas Rockwood, Founder of Yoga Body®️ in 2007.
For flexibility gains, you need to supplement whatever you’re doing with long-hold passive postures that target specific areas. When we teach, we also pair it with a down-regulating breathing pattern to assist in shutting off the stretch reflex and encouraging relaxation and release.
Gravity Yoga®️ is not a complete practice or exercise routine. It’s specifically focused on one thing - flexibility - and it’s meant to complement whatever else you’re doing for exercise.

Yes! Everyone is welcome to join no matter what your level or ability is. We find that beginners often experience the biggest gains. These poses are extremely challenging, but very accessible and take more mental focus than physical prowess.
We always advise to check with your doctor or specialist if you're unsure. Gravity yoga®️ is a targeted mobility style of yoga, which consists of long held passive stretching and has seen great results in people with chronic injuries, including ourselves!
You will need a yoga mat. If you have any yoga props you can use them in this challenge when we modify the poses. If you don't have any yoga props, we will show you items around the house you can use instead ;)
Each video practice will be available the morning of each day.
