What is Gravity Yoga®️?

Gravity Yoga®️ is a systematic approach to flexibility training developed and introduced by Lucas Rockwood, Founder of Yoga Body®️ in 2007.

For flexibility gains, you need to supplement whatever you’re doing with long-hold passive postures that target specific areas. When we teach, we also pair it with a down-regulating breathing pattern to assist in shutting off the stretch reflex and encouraging relaxation and release.

Gravity Yoga®️ is not a complete practice or exercise routine. It’s specifically focused on one thing - flexibility - and it’s meant to complement whatever else you’re doing for exercise.

It's got me back into exercise!

Thanks so much Maz & Jo for putting this yoga challenge together, it's been a great 21 days. Really appreciate your time and effort and for sharing. It's really helped with my flexibility, my sleeping has been better and my pain hasn't been as sharp all the time, definitely seeing results after only 21 days and loving the process, I will be carrying on with it before bed. This has definitely got me back into exercise and stretching, with my back problems, nerve damage and fibromyalgia, it's really helping. A little work on ourselves can go a very long way, I'm hoping to get back into more exercise and even drop some weight before my holiday in April. Thanks again guys, really appreciate your help. ❤️

Jo & Maz, I missed yesterday due to travel and now haven't got a band but have done today's. Monday I was devastated as my physio couldn't fit me in for a week and i've been in pain all over Christmas with my left bum/piriformis/sciatica and I’m now considering cancelling it - honestly this has made such a difference in a matter of a few days! Thank you for introducing me :* this should be taught in every office! x

15 minutes a day to keep me pain free!

Had a few days off and my pain has returned :( So back on it this evening!! 15 mins a day to keep me pain free, I NEED to work this in to my priority list :P Getting so much benefit when i practice, that it is noticeable when i miss a day or two. I have pretty chronic spasmodic back pain due to a number of spinal fractures and other injuries and this has given me more relief than osteopathy or physiotherapy! Thanks Jo & Maz xx

Wow super impressed again! My happy baby was so much better 2nd time around. I was amazed at how much more easily I could hold my feet with no need for a strap 😃💪

It's a miracle!

It’s a miracle!! Literally the first time ever I’ve been able to get my heels down in a squat 😃 I was so amazed I had to have another go after the 5 minutes to prove it to myself 😂 Thank you so much guys!! 👍👏🏻

FAQ

  • I've never done Yoga before, can I take part?

    Yes! Everyone is welcome to join no matter what your level or ability is. We find that beginners often experience the biggest gains. These poses are extremely challenging, but very accessible and take more mental focus than physical prowess.

  • I have an injury / medical condition, can I join in?

    We always advise to check with your doctor or specialist if you're unsure. Gravity yoga®️ is a targeted mobility style of yoga, which consists of long held passive stretching and has seen great results in people with chronic injuries, including ourselves!

  • Do I need any equipment?

    You will need a yoga mat. If you have any yoga props you can use them in this challenge when we modify the poses. If you don't have any yoga props, we will show you items around the house you can use instead ;)

  • What time can I access the daily video?

    Each video practice will be available the morning of each day.

  • Will I really see a difference in 21 days?

    Oh yes! If you practice each daily video for 21 days, you will find you have noticeable and measurable results. Just look at our customer reviews to see how others have found it.

  • What happens after the 21 days?

    You will have lifetime access to these videos, so you will be able to continue watching them and implementing this into your daily routine. We also have a student support facebook group, which you also have lifetime access.
